18-year-old Coco Gauff became the youngest Tennis player in 18 years to make it to a Grand Slam final after she defeated Italy's Martina Trevisan in straight sets of 6-3, 6-1 in the French Open semifinals on Thursday.

Coco Gauff will have nothing to lose as she bids to become the youngest Slam winner since Sharapova stunned Serena Williams in London 18 years ago

The American Teenager has fixed her date with Polish Tenis Player Iga Swiatek who has entered the finals of the clay-court event after defeating Daria Kasatkina in the semis. The current World no. 1 is on a 34-match winning streak.

The world number 59 took a medical timeout before the second set to have her thigh strapped, but Gauff took total control of the match when she won a 14-minute game with a backhand winner for a 3-1 lead.

The final which will be held on 4th June will also be Gauff's maiden Grand Slam final. Before her, Maria Sharapova was the youngest Tennis player to enter the Wimbledon finals where she also stunned Serena Williams to lift her first-ever Slam in 2004.
