SAREE
Where grace and culture shook hands, the saree was born!
Wearing saree in Diwali is a trend going for years and years now! There are many new ways for wearing a saree. In market we get to see lots of new trending saree. You can buy them but what if we don’t have enough budgets to buy one!!
Let me tell you different ways of wearing a saree!!
- Belt Style
Adding an accessories to your saree always give an elegant look. Drape your saree normally and add a beautiful belt or else you can also use a kamarbandh for more traditional look. A statement blouse like an off shoulder would definitely ass dome zing to your outfit.
- Dhoti Style
Try out this offbeat look the next time you have to attend a wedding. All you have to do is wear a legging instead of a petticoat for better draping purposes. The style is a bit tricky but don't you worry, we have you covered!
- Neck Drape Style
All you have to do is take your pallu length as long as to wrap it around your neck like a scarf. It is easy and stylish. You can even experiment with as many scarf styles as you like.
- Butterfly Style
All you have to do is make extra thin plates of your pallu and pin it on your shoulders. This draping is not only stylish, but it also makes you look slimmer.
- Mermaid Style
In this style we don’t need to tuck lower plates in front, instead spread all of the pleats around which in turn looks like the tail of mermaid. Also take the pallu in front about 4 inches above floor, from this pallu take out one of the pleat and cover it around your bust and tuck in the right side. The drape might look like a lot of work, but it only requires a few extra tucks and pleats.
- Front Pallu Style
This one's got to be the easiest one. Instead of carrying over the pallu to your left shoulder, you carry it from the back to your right shoulder. While the Gujarati style involves spreading out of the pleats, you can choose not to as well.
- Pant/Jeans Style
All you have to do is grab your silk saree and a pair of jeans. Instead of petticoat wear your jeans and drape your saree normally and finish your look with a belt. Instead of blouse you can also try it with t-shirt. This will give you indo-western look.
- Denims always on trend!
Wearing a denim jacket on a saree will give you fabulous look.
- Saree with Shirt
All you have to do is instead of blouse wear a simple shirt (mostly simple or shirt works always). Also add some beautiful neckpiece and a bindi to complete your look!
- Fusion
Try creating your own style from mixing the above trends and adding some beautiful accessories to finish your look!!
