Bhangarh Fort is found on the way to Alwar and Jaipur in Rajasthan in India. The town was established in 1573 during the rule of Bhagwant Das. Why it is known as Haunted?
The story behind the Bhangarh Fort suggests that there was a tantric named Singhia who fell for the gorgeous princess of Bhangarh called Ratnavati. Singhania knew that the match wouldn't to possible due to their different class status. Thus, he decided to fall for him using black magic.
However, the princess, who was also a lover of the occult learned of his plans and found some way to kill him. Locals who live nearby claim that one can hear voices popping out of the Fort in the dark.
Thus entering the borders of Bhangarh before sunrise and after sunset is strictly prohibited. Strict action would be taken against anybody who doesn't follow these instructions. Be warned before you step within the scariest and haunted place of India.
