BMW G 310 RR Launched In India

The BMW G 310 RR has been launched in India, priced at Rs. 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base Black variant and the Style Sport Variant is priced at Rs. 2.99 lakh.

It is available in 2 variants and 2 colours with top variant price starting from Rs. 2,99,000. The BMW G310 RR is powered by 313cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 34 bhp and a torque of 27 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, BMW G310 RR comes up with anti-locking braking system. This G310 RR bike weighs 174 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.

BMW Motorrad India will soon update its portfolio with the launch of the TVS Apache RR310-based G 310 RR. This new model from the Bavarian two-wheeler maker will be a rebadged Apache RR 310 and it will be launched in our market on 15 July, 2022. The bookings for the motorcycle have already commenced across India.

The motorcycle will look identical to the Apache RR310, and it will feature a twin-pod headlight, vertically-mounted colour TFT display, muscular fuel tank, split-style seats, and a side-slung exhaust. While the styling will remain similar to the Apache RR310, the BMW G 310 RR will get different paint themes and graphics. Further, the ‘TVS’ and ‘Apache RR310’ logos would be replaced by BMW units.

The BMW G 310 RR is expected to use the same 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor as the Apache RR310. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, this motor is tuned to produce 34bhp and 27.3Nm of peak torque on the flagship TVS motorcycle. Similar to the Apache RR 310, the upcoming BMW G 310 RR, too, should get riding modes among other electronic aids.

The suspension setup on the G 310 RR, just like Apache RR310 will comprise upside-down front forks and rear mono-shock. The BMW motorcycle is expected to arrive with a fully-adjustable suspension setup – a feature that was offered via Built-To-Order service on the Apache RR310. The anchoring tasks will be handled by disc brakes on both wheels. Other features will include full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled colour-TFT display, and selectable riding modes.

The BMW G 310 RR should carry a price premium over the TVS Apache RR310. The TVS motorcycle, for reference, is available at Rs 2.65 lakh. We can expect the fully-faired BMW to sport pricing of around Rs 2.80 lakh
