2022 Harley-Davidson Nightster India Launch, Expected to arrive in this month.
Harley-Davidson India will soon update its portfolio with the launch of the Nightster in our market. The company recently confirmed this upcoming launch through a teaser on its social media handles. Here we tell you what to expect from the India-bound Harley-Davidson Nightster.
The new Harley-Davidson Nightster is expected to arrive in the Rs 14 lakh-14.5 lakh (ex-showroom) price range that would put it directly against the likes of Moto Guzzi V85 TT. The motorcycle is expected to arrive in the Indian market this month and the deliveries should commence soon after the launch.
The Nightster is already available in the international markets where it uses a Euro5-compliant 975cc, 60-degree, V-twin engine that produces a maximum output of 90bhp at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 95Nm at 5,750rpm. This motor features variable valve timing, but only for the intake valves. The India-bound model will deliver similar power and torque output numbers.
This sportster-style motorcycle features a long wheelbase with a low profile. The styling elements include a round headlight with a cowl at the front, 11.7-litre teardrop-shaped fuel tank, chopped fender, split-style seats and a side-slung exhaust. The brushed aluminium finish on the cylinder heads and crankcase further enhance the visuals of the motorcycle. Internationally, the motorcycle is available in three colours – black, grey, and red.
The feature list on the motorcycle comprises full-LED lighting and a semi-digital instrument cluster. The electronic rider aids include three riding modes (Road, Sport, and Rain), traction control, ABS, and traction control system.
