Rajasthan Royals qualified for playoffs in style as they defeated Chennai Super Kings by 5 wickets in their final league game at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Chasing a 151-run target, Yashasvi Jasiwal (59) and Ravichandran Ashwin (40* off 23 balls) starred for the Royals as the side survived a middle-order collapse to secure a win.

While Jos Buttler (2), Sanju Samson (15), and Devdutt Padikkal (3) were dismissed early, RR promoted Ashwin who smashed two fours and three sixes en route to his match-winning knock. 

Riyan Parag, meanwhile, remained unbeaten on 10 off as many deliveries to take the Royals home. For CSK, Prashant Solanki took two wickets, while Simarjeet and Santner picked a wicket each.
