Irrfan Khan Passed Away At Age Of 54 Due To Colon Infection
Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan died on Wednesday at the age of 54.
Irfan Khan was admitted to the ICU of Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday due to sudden deteriorating health. He was admitted because of a colon infection.
Filmmaker Shoojit Sarkar shared the news of Irrfan Khan's death on Twitter. He wrote, 'My dear friend Irfan, you fought, fought and fought. I will always be proud of you .. We will meet again. Shanti and Om Shanti. Salute to Irrfan Khan.

Earlier, Irfan spokesperson was quoted as saying that yes it is true that Irfan Khan has been admitted to the ICU of Kokilaben (Hospital) in Mumbai due to Cologne infection. We will keep you updated. He is under the doctor's supervision. His strength and courage have helped him fight the fight so far and we are confident that due to the tremendous will and prayers of all his well-wishers, he will be healed completely soon.

On the other hand, Irfan's mother has died recently. The actor's mother Saeeda Begum breathed her last in Jaipur on Saturday. However, Irfan could not attend the mother's funeral amidst a nationwide lockdown. He prayed on his behalf through video conferencing.
