In 2019, India's passport was ranked at 82.

In the list of the most powerful passports in the world, India's passport has slipped two digits to the 84th position. Tajikistan also ranks 84th in India's ranking. 

Thus, those holding Indian passports are not required to get visas in 58 countries, but there is a slight reduction in the fact that the passport of India was ranked at 82. Japan ranks first on the list of most powerful passports, while Pakistan ranks fourth on the lowest passport list.

Indian passport holders can travel visa-free to countries including Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Macau, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Mauritius, Seychelles, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Iran, Qatar. However, in some countries, India also needs a visa on arrival. 

The countries that have the lowest passport list are Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria followed by Pakistan and Somalia.
