India vs Pakistan: Asia Cup Hockey 2022

Abdul Rana's goal in the dying minutes of the fourth quarter helped Pakistan draw their Group A game against India in the ongoing Asia Cup on Monday. In the first quarter, Karthi Selvam had scored for India and in the next two quarters, no goals were scored.

However, through a penalty corner, Abdul Rana converted and Pakistan got their equaliser. India and Pakistan squared off in the Asia Cup Hockey 2022 game on Monday evening and the Birendra Lakra-side failed to start their tournament on a high. The Indian side fielded some new faces in the squad. 

The Indian squad comprises Yashdeep Siwach, Abhishek Lakra, Manjeet, and Vishnukant Singh. Earlier, Rupinder Pal Singh was ruled out of the tournament due to an injury.

In Pool A, India, Japan, Pakistan and hosts Indonesia are put together while Group B has Malaysia, Korea, Oman and Bangladesh.

6:18 PM: Three quarters done, India still lead Pakistan 1-0.

6:30 PM: Five minutes left in the game, and India are 1-0 ahead. Can Birendra Lakra-led side hang on?
