2022 Audi A8 L launched at Rs. 1.29 crore

The 2022 Audi A8 L is now available in India. The limousine comes in two variants – Celebration Edition and Technology, priced at Rs. 1.29 crore and Rs. 1.57 crore (ex-showroom) respectively.

The 2022 A8 L comes with a refreshed exterior featuring Digital Matrix LED headlamps, a wider single-frame chrome grille at the front and OLED tail lights. The car rides on 19-inch alloy wheels with a 5-arm turbine design in graphite grey finish.

Inside, the 2022 A8 L gets an updated touchscreen infotainment system and dual 10.1-inch screens for the rear seat passengers. Speaking of rear seats, they have reclining, massage and ventilation functions. Audi also offers a heated foot massager with two massage programs and three intensities. The Technology variant gets an optional 4-seat configuration.

Other features include Audi Virtual Cockpit, head-up display, 4-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a 23-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.

Powering the new A8 L is a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. It delivers 335 BHP and 500 Nm, which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive system. The car rides on Adaptive Air Suspension, which detects road undulations in advance and adjusts for optimal comfort. The elevated entry function raises the vehicle by up to 50 mm when opening the doors. 

Coming to the safety features, the A8 L comes equipped with Audi Pre-Sense Basic, preventive self-tightening seat belts, 8-airbags (upgradable to 10 airbags) and Park Assist with a 360-degree camera.

Audi is offering a standard warranty of 5 years with 5-years Road Side Assistance and a 3- year Comprehensive Service Package with the A8 L.
